No, April 20th is still not officially a national holiday. But try telling that to the legion of marijuana lovers or anyone else who thinks it’s a big event.
Thanks to the number 420, which has some significance in both pop and pot culture, April 20th is a day to celebrate all things marijuana. Hence all the events and parties that take place in cities across the US on or around the date each year, including here in the Valley.
This will be the case again in 2022 as there will be numerous celebrations related to the 420 at Metro Phoenix on Wednesday, April 20th, as well as pre and post big day events. It ranges from festivals like Buds-A-Palooza and Cannaval to concerts in local bars and various sales in pharmacies and tobacconists.
To help you keep on top of everything that’s going on this year, we’ve put together the following overview of all 420 events taking place in the Valley. Read on and smoke them if you have them.
