Attack on Titan manga sales continue to rise

Attack on Titan is one of the biggest manga in the entire industry, but the series shows no signs of slowing down despite its conclusion over the last year.

This week Twitter page ManganiMY divided the first print sales for the big three manga publishers (Kodansha, Shogakukan and Shueisha) from April 2021 to March 2022.

According to the report, Attack on Titan was the best-selling manga for Kodansha, selling 1.5 million copies in the last 12 months; The only two series to sell more copies were One Piece (3.2 million) and Jujutsu Kaisen (2.15 million).

More specifically, the Attack on Titan Wiki Twitter Page then shared a report that the first volume of the manga, released back in March 2010, was the best-selling Kodansha volume in the US in 2021.

Incredibly, the series surpassed 100 million copies in print by December 2019, with volume one sitting on the New York Times Manga Best Sellers list for an outstanding 121 weeks in 2016.
